NEWSPAPER: ‘Tornado hit Sheffield, Ont., on Monday, Environment Canada confirms’
DATE: October 8th, 2014
SYNOPSIS: The Environment of Canada was proving that a Tornado was hit in Ontario. They inspected it was a Tornado since there was a lot of damage taken place. They investigated and said homes were damaged, downed trees and branches and there was lots of unknown material flying in the air. The article does try to persuade the readers to take a side since it only talks about reasons why it was a Tornado. This issue is important because Tornadoes are very dangerous if you aren’t kept in a safe place to stay because it can risk our lives as Canadian Citizens.
REFLECTIVE QUESTION: Should the government of Canada invest in a program to help humans get prepared for Tornadoes?
